2011

  • Four new operatory rooms were fitted
  • Hiring of five new DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery).
  • Affiliation of the new doctors to the American Dental Association.
  • Hiring of eight new dental laboratory technicians.
  • We rented a new building for the International Patient Center and Administrative Department.
  • Acquisition of the CAD/CAM by Schutz (Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing) . The CAD/CAM by using German technology fabricates zirconium dioxide dental structures (i.e. crowns, bridges, etc).
  • 3D Dental imaging (Scanora 3D by Soredex)
  • We re-structured and improved our Onsite Dental Laboratory.
  • Products innovation (i.e. SmileVeneers)
  • Alejandra Quesada D.D.S. was trained in Soredex's headquarters in Finland.
  • Local training performed in our facilities by Soredex (Finland) and Schütz Dental (Germany).
  • Our doctors attended about ten international conferences and events.

2010

  • We moved to new premises
  • AAAASF inspected and re-accredited our new dental facilities
  • Agreements with external services providers (i.e. hotels, car rentals, etc.)
  • New agreements with medical tourism facilitators and referral companies
  • Development of new products, packages and programs.
  • Implementation of the VOIP (Voice over internet phone) in order to offer free international phone calls to our foreign patients.
  • Redefining strategic website positioning and aggressive organic search engine optimized (SEO)
  • Putting into practice a new "Sales Management Model": Cloud Computing (i.e. Salesforce.com)
  • Seal of Quality was received by the Council for international Promotion of Costa Rica Medicine (PROMED)

2009

  • First dental center in Costa Rica internationally accredited by The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery facilities, Inc. (AAAASF)
  • Incorporation of the Project Business Manager to the team.
  • Implementation of the IP PBX phone system (Internet Protocol- Private branch Exchange).
  • Production and pattern of an infomercial in the State of Florida, USA.
  • Recruitment of new "Dental Advisers"
  • Redefinition of the trading post and logistics, incorporating the concept of "Concierge Services"

2008

  • Creation of the Operations & Logistics Department
  • February: The record of visits and international billing was reached.
  • First formal agreement with an international company specialized in medical tourism
  • Hiring of a Business Manager (legal, accounting, taxation, personnel, etc.)

2007

  • Hiring of a driver exclusively for international patients
  • Hiring of the first bilingual dental adviser, exclusively dedicated to the attention and assistance of our international patients.

2006

  • Aggressive promotion strategy through internet
  • Agreement with a recognized local travel agency to offer private transportation services to our international patients.
  • Creation and structuring of a bilingual call center, specialized and dedicated to international patients.
  • Design and implementation of the Dental Adviser position.
  • First agreement with a Referral Company
