Truly, this has been a life altering experience for me. I would like to say THANK YOU to D.D.S. Mario Bonilla and his terrific staff for turning dental work, which I have always considered one of my least favorite experiences, into an enjoyable visit, Dr. Bonilla's friendly attitude compliments his comprehensive mastery of his trade. He can accomplish with astounding results in one day what has taken months for other dentists to do. The finished product is a great smile with teeth that actually look and feel natural. I thought I needed and was quoted a price for two Implants in addition the other twelve crowns. Dr. Bonilla however did root canals (painlessly) and posts on both of the broken off teeth, not only saving my original teeth but also a substantial amount of money. All of this work was done with the most up to date equipment I have ever seen not to mention the in house lab where any last minute changes can be easily accomplished.
So that was the tough part of the trip. Although New Smiles offers a travel agent to work with, other than accepting the airport transportation and shuttle service to and from the facility we chose to book our own hotels and travel tours. With the versatile help of the New Smiles personnel we came to understand what PURA VIDA truly means, what an exciting gorgeous country. From volcanoes to spas and plantations and gardens, rafting and beaches and wildlife and forests Costa Rica is truly a Gem.
On that same trip Dr Bonilla also did 17 crowns on my wife. We have been together for 25 years and she has never had such a beautiful smile. He also did two root canals and 16 crowns with equal success on my friend of thirty years whom I think of as a big brother. I have since recommended New Smiles to many other people. Two of these folks are very good friends and shall I say are known for being very particular. Both of them have received extensive dental work from Dr. Bonilla, not only were they very pleased with the pricing but were extremely happy with the results. I could tell by their New Smiles.
