Ever since I first heard of medical tourism, I knew that I wanted to go to Costa Rica to get my dental implants done.

I knew that it would be a major savings, that the medical attention would be expert and that I would have an opportunity to see another culture with a portion of the savings. After investigating a number of dentists that I found on the internet, I chose Dr. Bonilla. His prices were fair, his staff was very attentive and responsive to all my inquiries and the additional service in terms of providing transportation and helping find a hotel was greatly appreciated. I was delighted that I was eligible for immediate load implants, something that he specializes in. That meant that I only had to make one trip to Costa Rica and in the space of 11 days I was able to chew again on both sides of my mouth. What a wonderful experience that was. There was hardly any discomfort. There was one dental visit at the beginning of my stay and two at the end, the rest of the time I was able to explore with my niece and a good friend the beautiful natural oasis that is Costa Rica.

When I returned to the States I had my dentist check out the work that Dr. Bonilla did and he had no complaints, in fact, he said the work, for which I had paid $7,000 would have cost $30,000 to do in the area. It has been well over half a year now that my dental implants are in and I have had no problems with them at all. I felt very comfortable and in good hands with Dr. Bonilla and his staff and would not hesitate to recommend this capable team to anyone in the States with major dental work to be done.
